At the Award Ceremony of Producing Women Competition organized by Halkbank, the Alev Alatlı Special Award was given to Prof. Dr. Hülya Tezcan.
The ceremony held at Istanbul Financial Center was attended by the Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, the Governor of Istanbul Davut Gül and the General Manager of Halkbank Osman Arslan.
At the ceremony, which was organized in order to support women entrepreneurship and make women's labor visible in production, a special award in the name of our founder and one of the important allies and authors of our country, Alev Alatlı, was awarded to Prof. Dr. Hülya Tezcan, Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş and Halkbank, who stood out for her work in the field of art history and traditional weaving. It was presented by its General Manager, Osman Arslan.
Prof. Dr. Hülya Tezcan, who has made important contributions to the documentation and transfer of Turkish weaving and textile culture to future generations through his academic work, has successfully represented Turkey with his exhibitions and projects at home and abroad. Prof. Dr. Tezcan serves as the chief advisor in the Turkish Woven Atlas Project, which is carried out under the auspices of Mr. Emine Erdoğan Mrs. Erdoğan, and makes valuable contributions to the field.
