Within the scope of Erasmus+ Higher Education Mobility Consortia, an application titled “Ecotourism” was submitted to the Turkish National Agency in 2022 and was accredited for five years under accreditation number 2023-1-TR01-KA130-HED-000112990.
Within this framework, the Grant Agreement No. 2024-1-TR01-KA131-HED-000213430 was signed with the National Agency.
According to Article I.1 – Subject of the Agreement, clause I.1.1, the Project Coordinator of the Higher Education National Mobility Consortium under Erasmus+ Key Action 1: Learning Mobility of Individuals undertakes to allocate grants to partner institutions; pursuant to clause I.1.2, project partners accept responsibility for the implementation of the project.
The consortium is coordinated by Isparta University of Applied Sciences.
Erasmus+ mobility opportunities are provided in line with the grant allocated to Cappadocia University for each project period.
Within the consortium, priority is given to departments related to ecotourism and sustainability. Accordingly, selection and placement primarily target staff and students from the Faculties of Tourism and related departments (Tourism Guidance, Tourist Guidance, Gastronomy and Culinary Arts).
Participants from each institution are selected based on the selection criteria and implementation procedures of their home institutions.
The application portal structured via the TurnaPortal platform will open on 2 January 2026 and close on 22 January 2026 at 23:59.
Applicants may access the relevant call by typing CAPPADOCIA UNIVERSITY in the search section.
IMPORTANT: Applications with missing or incomplete documents will be considered invalid.
Applications or document uploads cannot be made after the specified deadline, and no changes can be made once the application is completed.
At the initial application stage, no hard-copy documents are required to be submitted to academic units or the International Relations Office.
Applicants are advised to carefully review the application conditions before applying. By submitting an application, applicants are deemed to have accepted these conditions.
In post-selection processes and in the event of disputes, the relevant legislation and the terms stated in this announcement shall apply.
Priority is given to departments related to ecotourism and sustainability, primarily Tourism Faculties and related departments (Tourism Guidance, Tourist Guidance, Gastronomy and Culinary Arts).
A foreign language certificate is not mandatory. However, applicants who wish to receive extra points must upload the result document of the foreign language exam conducted by Cappadocia University on 16 March 2024, obtainable from the School of Foreign Languages.
Staff holding valid CPE, CAE, Cambridge C2 Proficiency, Cambridge C1 Advanced, TOEFL iBT, PTE Academic, or equivalent KPDS/ÜDS/YDS/e-YDS/YÖKDİL/e-YÖKDİL certificates may receive up to 30% additional points, provided that the document proving sufficient proficiency for mobility is uploaded.
Total quota: 3 staff members.
Selected staff will be funded for 4 days (2 days of mobility + 2 days of travel support).
The International Relations Office reserves the right to place fewer or more participants than the announced quota, depending on budgetary conditions.
Applicants are responsible for reviewing the eligibility conditions and evaluation criteria published on the Cappadocia University website. Evaluation criteria will not be announced separately.

Mobility to the applicant’s country of citizenship is given lower priority
Staff Mobility is divided into Staff Teaching Mobility and Staff Training Mobility.
To benefit from Staff Teaching Mobility, applicants must:
i. Be full-time academic staff employed at Cappadocia University (including employed doctoral candidates);
ii. Have an inter-institutional agreement if mobility is conducted with a higher education institution abroad;
iii. Apply in accordance with the announcement criteria published by the International Relations Office;
iv. Deliver a minimum of 8 teaching hours during the visit;
v. Possess and document sufficient language proficiency for the teaching program;
vi. Plan the mobility for a minimum of 2 days and a maximum of 5 days;
vii. Submit approval from the unit head indicating leave status according to the academic calendar;
viii. Have a work plan approved and signed by both the sending and receiving institutions;
ix. Be evaluated according to National Agency criteria and the additional criteria stated above.
To benefit from Staff Training Mobility, applicants must:
i. Be full-time academic or administrative staff employed at Cappadocia University;
ii. Apply in accordance with the announcement criteria published by the International Relations Office;
iii. Possess and document sufficient language proficiency for the training program;
iv. Submit a report explaining the relevance of the training to their unit and its contribution to professional performance;
v. Plan the mobility for a minimum of 2 days and a maximum of 5 days, and submit approval from the administrative supervisor;
vi. Have a work plan approved and signed by both the sending and receiving institutions;
vii. Be evaluated according to National Agency criteria and the additional criteria stated above.
A grant agreement is signed between the selected staff member and the University prior to mobility. Payments are made in two installments: 80% pre-financing and the remaining balance within 30 days following submission of required documents after mobility.
Applicants are responsible for finding their host institutions themselves.
Host institution details must be submitted to the International Relations Office after the announcement.
Acceptance letters obtained during the call period may be uploaded during application and are eligible for +10 points.
